英语：关于过去进行时什么时候用过去进行时的啊？？

过去进行时就是表示在从前的某个时间，某人正在干什么。至于这个时间怎么表达，当然可以有不同的方法，比如“昨天下午”，“他进来时”，“开始下雨的时候”等等。



I am washing my clothes now.

我现在在弹钢琴。这是现在进行时。



I was washing my clothes when she came in.

她进来时，我正在弹钢琴。这就是过去进行时，整个句子的大环境是发生在过去的。



I was singing while she was reading a book.

我在唱歌而她在看书。整个句子描述的也是发生在过去的某个时候的事。



再比如，你可以看看下面几个句子区别：

1.一般现在时：We play basketball together.

一般性陈述，我们一起打篮球。

2.现在进行时：We are playing basketball together.

我们正在一起打篮球。

3.一般过去时：We played basketball together yesterday.

我们昨天一起打篮球来着。也是一般性陈述，只不过陈述的事发生在过去。

4.过去进行时：We were playing basketball together when it started raining yesterday.

昨天开始下雨的时候我们正在打篮球。
