Cat and Mouse in Partnership

Once upon a time, a cat and a mouse became partners in a business venture. They agreed that whatever they caught, they would share it equally between them_

One day, they were out hunting together and soon spotted a plump bird. The cat quickly pounced and caught it, but before he could eat it, the mouse said, “Wait a minute! We agreed to share whatever we caught, so this bird should be divided in half.”

The cat reluctantly agreed, and the mouse set about dividing the bird. He cut off the head, the wings, and the legs, and then cut the body in two. He put one half in front of the cat and kept the other half for himself.

The cat was outraged. “What kind of deal is this?” he exclaimed. “You’ve taken all the good parts for yourself and left me with nothing but the bones!”

Moral: Partners should be fair to one another.
