这里是江西省赣州市偏远山区三溪乡的办公楼，这样的房子一共有5栋，大都建于20世纪80、90年代，最老旧的一栋建于20世纪70年代末。

This is the office buildingof Sanxi Township, located in the remote mountainous areaof Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. There are a total of 5 such buildings, most of which were built in the 1980s and 1990s, with the oldest one built in the late 1970s.

几十年来，这几栋房子几乎未进行任何改变，哪怕是在新农村建设的大潮滚滚而来时，也只是对瓦片屋顶进行必要的修缮。

For decades, these buildings have hardly undergone any changes, even during the wave of new rural development swept through. The only necessary repairs have been made to the tile roofs.

但与乡政府院子仅一路之隔的三溪乡圩镇，却是一派新颜。

But the Xu Town of Sanxi Township, just across the road from the courtyard of the township government, which has taken on a new look.

村民告诉记者，三溪乡政府原来是准备建新办公楼的，但最后都弃建了，一共是三次。背后的原因是什么？新年前夕，记者来到三溪乡，一探究竟。
